In the first of our blog posts, Nick Burton, Drive Mentor and Belron's Chief Information and Digital Officer discusses how our startup accelerator programme is helping to encourage inquisitive thinking in Belron's people and, as a result, is shifting the business to value curiosity as a behaviour.
Following a tense and exciting pitch day, we’re thrilled to invite four startups to team up with us in this year’s Drive with Belron Programme. They will be helping us to think differently and trial innovative solutions to Belron’s market challenges.
On Friday 9 March, 18 startups will join us at Milton Park to pitch for their chance to win a place on this year’s accelerator programme.
We're delighted to have received 87 applications for our third Drive with Belron programme. The applications come from startups from the UK, Europe, US, Canada, Ghana, South Korea and India. Applications will now be reviewed and 20 startups will be invited to Pitch Day on 9 March.

As the deadline for applications for our Drive with Belron 2018 approaches, we take a glimpse at what some of our 2017 cohort have been up to.
Drive with Belron has opened for applications for its third programme. We're looking for startups that can improve our operations and trial their products and ideas with a global organisation. Applications for the programme need to be in by 4 February 2018.
Following our previous announcement, we're delighted to announce we will be investing in another Drive with Belron 2017 startup - Blitzz.
After a successful demo day at the end of June, we’re delighted to announce ThriveMap and Locpin have secured investment from Belron and L Marks. Discussions are underway with all startups to continue their pilots with us with commercial agreements in place.
Talking Circles, ThriveMap, ThanksBox, Locpin and Blitzz have spent the last 10-weeks working with France, Spain, Germany and the US respectively, immersing themselves in their operations and trialing their products. Today, they will share their insights and experiences in a bid to secure investment and a future relationship with Belron.
