Over the last 10 weeks, Talking Circles, ThriveMap, ThanksBox, Locpin and Blitzz have been trialing their platforms and tools in France, Spain, Germany and the US respectively, supported by their mentors. Today, each startup will have just 10 minutes to present their tools and findings to impress judges from across Belron and L Marks for a chance to secure investment of up to £200,000 and a future relationship with Belron.
Nick Burton, Head of Digital and Innovative Technology said: “Drive has been really exciting this year, with five brilliant teams joining the cohort. I’ve been really impressed with the speed and agility on display as each team got their pilot up and running in the four countries, and I really appreciate the hard work and teamwork on display when the teams are in one of our countries, or at Milton Park. Demo day is going to be fascinating, as all of the teams have very strong products that can really make a difference to our people and our customers.”
Drive with Belron is our startup accelerator in partnership with innovation specialists L Marks. The programme is designed to fast track disruptive young businesses looking for global expansion. This is the second year where we have opened our door to startups who can help us improve our operations by trialing their products within a global organisation.
